Mega Man - Commence
This story begins shortly after Megaman X6 the game. If nobody played enough of the games, or not at all, you might not understand some of the events or characters that appear in this story... About 1 year after Gate was destroyed, a very powerfull reploid appeard. Creating a hybrid virus, she took control of the hunter base, thus the begining of her bloodlust. Her name was Odea. Megaman mysteriously disapeard a month before she took over. As for Zero, he resides in the ruins of Gates lab. Waiting for the right moment to reveal himself. Already, many reploids, and humans have lost thier lives in the fight against Odea, including Signas, Alia and the rest of the hunters. Odea has a fortress hidden somewhere on Earth, but its location is unknown. Hidden for such a long time in Gates labs, Zero has been upgrading, and modifying himself, into a faster, more powerfull reploid. The moment is now, Zero must act quickley, for there is little time left. His journey begins now.....
Zero mended the final bolt in his Z saber. It was at maximal power. He has been hiding in solitude for 3 months down in the ruins of Gates lab, he had full access to all of the equipment and data. He took time to modify his buster arm so it would be as sufficient as Megaman's was. He also extended his saber, and made it 25% more powerfull. Zero had the same reliable armor as he always had, the red and white metal had been polished. His eyes were stern, and his stance was tence. The giant elevator slowly crawled to the outer world. A soft cool breeze swept down the shaft, reminding Zero of the world he had missed for 3 months. It finally reached its destination, the field was scattered with reploid parts, and still burnt from the battle with Gate. Zero's long blonde hair swayed as the wind changed direction, he took a deep breath of the fresh air and began walking in the direction of the unter base ( or at least where it use to be) His teleporting unit was not yet functional, the part wasn't in the old lab. He would probably find one at the hunter base though.
The dusty fields were dry and cold. The outside world was nothing like it use to be. Odea's reign was truly powerfull, and her will must be very destructive. He left scuffed footprints in the dust, but they were quickley blown away from the wind. Zero squinted as he could barley make out the silouhett of a small building. As he neard ha could see that it was probably a resting place for injured reploids. He used one of these before, in his early years. After he had faught an out of control maverick, he had to be repaired, so his pal Megaman had taken him to one..... he could always rely on Megaman if he needed help..... but not this time. He slowly walked up to the entrance, it was an electronic gate. He positioned his head infront of the black sphere. A small red beam shot from it and hit the blue gem on his head. On the screen next to the door, this appeard.

Zero raised his buster and destroyed the panel, sparks fell to the ground and the screen faded away. All of the athorities probably had succumed to Odea's virus, he might have been the last reploid left untainted. Even though, he didnt want to take the chance, Zero took his saber and slashed the door. It easily split in two and fell to the ground."heh, these things should have been built better anyway". He slowly stepped inside. It was dank and dark, probably hasn't been used in months. It only had about 4 rooms in the entire place. The first room was the biggest, small chairs and one table were pushed up against the right side. There were 2 doors in the back of the room. The one on the right lead to a repair room, for reploids who weren't badly injured. the second door lead down a long hallway, with one door on the right, and another at the very end. Zero took to this hallway, his feet clunked against the metal floor as he went. He grasped the metal knob of the door on the right and slowly opend it. The small room had reploid parts scatterd all over the floor. Zero thought to himself * must have been a storage room*. Zero quickley rummaged through the parts and found nothing usefull. He closed the door and continued down the hall. When he got to the last door, a magnetic trap was set on it. The trap unabled the door to be opened without the right key. " must be the work of that b**ch Odea". He didn'y waste any energy trying to open it, he knew it was impossible.
Zero stepped back out into the cold dusty fields. The wind growing more powerfull, and light fading away from the sky, Zero had to find shelter soon. The safe house would make good shelter, but he had to hurry, if he rested now, it might be too late. He continued on through the cold, windy planes. Waves of dust and dirt pounded against Zero's numb face, but he was barley fased by it. Soon enough, it was completley dark, but Zero kept his eyes on the horizon. The bright moon lit the powdery planes, the stars could be seen as bright as ever. Suddenly, out of nowhere, an amazingly loud howl filled the quiet air. Zero's head felt like it was going to explode. * Where is it coming from?! ........ BEHIND ME!!!* Zero quickley spun around and saw something which couldnt possibley be. It looked as though the howl was coming from a wolf...... that resembled Treble..... and a reploid was standing next to it.... was it Bass?! " Bass, Treble!?"
